Hand Saw

Q

Hand Saw

Hand Sawing Experts

Hand saws are extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of applications. These smaller saws are especially useful when presented with situations where wall sawing or slab sawing are not feasible options due to lack of access or size of the opening.

Hand saws are usually more compact tools but still powerful enough and capable of cutting through hollow or filled blocks, pipes, and concrete up to 15 inches deep.

Typical scenarios for hand saws include:

  • Small areas where larger saws will not fit
  • Precise or flush cuts are needed
  • Inside Projects where larger saws are not feasible
  • Creating openings like doors, windows, mechanical openings, and more

Diesel and 480 Electric Slab Sawing

Diesel and 480 Electric Slab Sawing

When tasked with larger slab work, our teams employ the usage of diesel slab saws. These diesel-powered engines provide more torque than gas-powered engines, they come in different sizes including walk-behinds and the liquid-cooled engines provide for smoother running, higher productivity, and longer-lasting saws.

Typical scenarios for diesel slab saws include:

  • Outdoor slab cutting
  • Concrete section removals
  • Expansion joint creation or cleaning

Typical scenarios for 480 electric slab sawing:

  • Used indoors for warehouses, hospitals, offices, schools, etc. where exhaust fumes are not allowed.

Wire Saw

Q

Wire Sawing

Wire Sawing

Wire saws, also referred to as diamond wire cutting, allow us to perform precise cuts and are capable of cutting through stone, cinder blocks, brick asphalt, heavily reinforced concrete, and more. Wire saws are an ideal solution for thick structures too large for conventional cutting means, tight areas, and underwater cutting.

Typical scenarios for wire saws include:

  • Concrete pier removal
  • Creating opening through thick material
  • Cuts that require minimum vibration
  • Concrete walls thicker than 30 inches

Track Saw

Q

Track Sawing

Track Sawing

Track saws have strong motors mounted on a fixed track and utilize a diamond blade allowing for perfectly straight cuts in various angles that are smooth, clean, and cannot be replicated by other concrete cutting methods. Because they are fixed into place and are operated by remote control, this makes them very safe to control and operate.

Typical scenarios for using a track saw include:

  • Creating large openings for windows or doors
  • Precise smooth cuts are needed
  • Confined spaces

Chainsaw

Q

Chain Sawing

Chain Sawing

Concrete chain saws contain diamond grit that gives them the strength and durability required to cut through concrete. These specialized chainsaws are versatile and capable of cutting up to 25 – 30 inches deep with precision and can cut square corners in thick material without overcutting.

Typical scenarios for using a concrete chainsaw include:

    • Creating door & window openings
    • Cutting retaining walls
    • Creating plunge cuts
    • Cutting floor slabs

    Demolition

    Q

    Demolition

    Demolition

Removing concrete and concrete structures is a dangerous and demanding part of our work. Our teams utilize heavy equipment that allows them to be efficient while performing their job quicker and safer.

Typical scenarios for heavy equipment demolition include:

    • Tearing out concrete or asphalt driveways
    • Removal of sidewalks
    • Removal of swimming pools
